SEO

What is SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of optimizing web pages to make them reach a high position in the results of search engines like Google and Bing.

Search results are determined by algorithms. Google doesn’t divulge everything that goes into their algorithm but there are certain factors that are known to be important.

On-page SEO

The ranking of your website is partly decided by on-page factors. On-page SEO is about the things you can influence from within your website. These factors include technical aspects (the quality of your code and site speed) and content-related aspects, like the structure of your website or the quality of the copy on your site.

Off-page SEO

In addition to on-page SEO factors, there are off-page SEO factors. These  include links from other websites, social media attention, and other marketing activities outside your own website. These off-page SEO factors can be rather difficult to influence. The most important of these off-page factors is the number and quality of links pointing towards your site. The more quality, relevant sites that link to your website, the higher your position in Google will be.

A higher ranking will come if your website provides high-quality content and use a sustainable long-term strategy. Search engines want to deliver the best pages that match searchers’ queries.

Improved search rankings don’t happen overnight, you need to be patient to see results.

Be wary of those who offer quick fixes to get your company to the #1 position. We use industry approved, ethical practices, also known as “white hat SEO” to improve your rankings and avoid any penalties.

If your site is lingering on page 2 of the search results your customers won’t find you – let’s get started!
